Wildcat Snow Report

6:00 a.m. Wednesday update – Storm total snow accumulation – 8 inches.

A classic Ole Fashioned Nor’easter hit the region throughout the day on Tuesday. The brunt of the storm dumped over 30 inches in southeastern New Hampshire. We are grateful to Mother Nature and Old Man Winter, there was never a doubt the big storm would come and deliver the treasured fresh powder to ski country and Attitash. While we would have welcomed the over 14 inches forecasted earlier, we will gladly take the fresh 8 inches now that all is said and done. Thank you!

Powder Alert anticipation and excitement has been off the charts since Monday. The snow is light and fluffy, a real nice powder and fabulous to ski and ride in all day long on Tuesday! …for the 4:00 p.m. update we took the last chair of the day and measured 5 inches of fresh snow at our Summit Snow Stake and snow was still coming down..,1 to 2 inches additional was forecast to fall before the storm was to end later last evening. This morning at 5:30 a.m. we gleefully wake up to an additional and beautiful 3 inches for a storm total of 8 inches. Powder day two awaits, this is what we live for so make plans to be here on Wednesday!

Attitash is scheduled to operate from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm with 7 lifts providing access to 223 acres and 18.6 miles on 51 trails for skiing & riding. 89% of our terrain is now open. 45 open trails will have been groomed overnight. Conditions will start the day as machine groomed with new packed powder snow; and powder, packed powder and variable condtions on the ungroomed trails. Conditions do change throughout the day with skier traffic so make sure to stay alert and be safe out there. Six trails will be left ungroomed so we can enjoy the fresh snow in its natural bumped up, topped off condition; including Grandstand, Upper Kachina and Upper Mythmaker. Lower Councilor’s Run is opened ungroomed with real nice whale backs. More good news, Ski Patrol plans to drop the rope on Upper Ptarmigan for the first time this season; and you may be able to get fresh tracks if you are on first chair with our own 84 year old “every day Sam” Wednesday morning.

Wednesday's weather forecast calls for cloudy skies gradually becoming mostly sunny, a high temps near 19 degrees with light northwest wind. It should be a beauty out there today; come and get it, we hope to see you on the slopes

Please Note: MWVST Super G Races will take place on Wednesday, Illusion will be closed to the public Wednesday.

Guest Service & Season Pass Office open daily a 1/2 hour before lifts open to a 1/2 hour after lifts close. Call 603-374-2665 to speak with Guest Service.
